Does one become feral or are they born that why? Can some grapes be tamed?

Victoria Heights Chardonnay 2016

Had a bottle in Valletta and was impressed with a lovely flavour and bouquet. Will not win any awards but for €17 in a trip advisor #23 restaurant good value and enjoyed it. Buy it if you see it. It was recommended to us by the manager as the Viognier was sold out and this was a cheaper option!!!!!! — 7 years ago

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

MJ #23 free throw line slam dunk competition style hang time finish. The 2010 is still very young with mouth drying tannins. Espresso/Dark Chocolatey flavored yet maintains acidity. Very curious about this guy in 25 years or so when it reaches its peak. — 10 years ago

It was 78 degrees in Chicago today 🌅. Popped some Lewis to celebrate, pair with tonight's Blue Apron👨🏼‍🍳, & Ultra 2017 Martin Garrix 🎧.

The nose on this one reminds me of the Napa Valley farmers market (fruit and veggies section). In addition - lots of cedar, pine, and moss are present. Was hoping for a higher score but can't go past 91 on this one.

@Ryan Lewis one of my favorite labels. Their Chards are excellent, if you like Syrah try their Alec's blend. Lewis never disappoints

Thanks for the tip @Robert Evans Jr I'll seek some out. I'm into whites lately - not so much chards but sauvs lately.

8.7

A semi-sweet sparkling wine from New Mexico. Lemon, bread on the nose. Straightforward but a nice weight - not heavy, very drinkable. Good for a group, even one that knows its wine. Pandemic bottle #23. — 4 years ago

Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese Riesling Auction 2005

Auction (Versteigerung) bottle gold capsule AP#23
Wooow, where to start? The JJ Prüm 05's are one of the best they ever made. This one has a beautiful nose of botrytis, white chocolate, honey, pineapple. Like Fritz Haag, these wines have the intensity of beerenauslese without losing their freshness. What will it taste like in 100 years from now....105/100!
