A profound and ripe nose driven by black and blue fruit. Alcohol is present but not overwhelming. The palate had med complexity but was quite tight with a sturdy structure. A herbal and mineral driven nose with med intensity and complexity. The palate was driven by ripe orange and restrained Apple and pear notes. A younger and easier drinking #pinotnoir with med intensity and alcohol present on the nose. The palate was fat and round with red and black fruit. There was a slight buttery aspect. The #11 is having some issues with aging. Edges are quite faded and the alcohol was very present on the nose as well as the palate. Menthol and chocolate were the dominate notes with some ripe fruit. Bottled 1 month ago. A very attractive #chardonnay Great fruit and white flowers on the nose with med intensity. The palate was on the restrained side with less ripe apples and lemon. The structure was tight with med + acid and integrated alcohol. This is an extremely impressive #chardonnay with a profound nose that is full of spice, flowers, and perfectly ripened fruit. The palate is tight but just as complex and exciting as the nose. Med + acid, med + alcohol that is well integrated. Oak is present but in an appropriate way.
