Il Grigio da San Felice Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese

Barn, hay, ripe cherry, and very, very high acidity. Hard to determine all the nuances because swirling it around my tongue brings out the sour acid. Great with food, and better decanted for sure.

One of the better Chianti I've had in recent memory. Nice extract. Floral and finessed.

Decanted for two hours. Violet, glove, dark fruits on the nose. Consistent black cherry, blackberry and black current flavors on the palate with uplifting tobaccos. Medium bodied, medium acidity, smooth dusty tannins, fruity finish. A thirst quenching wine.
