In praise of a rain-soaked off-vintage. Wine of the flight in a vertical tasting that included ’07 & ’05. Just enough development here. Classical, harmonious, beautifully perfumed lavender–violet. The essence of syrah, not reduced to a hyper-concentrated point but rather diffused into a smoke that fills the room.
