Bright fruit but not much texture or depth. May need some time in the cellar.

One of the better #pinot from #almarosa #sbcounty #santaritahills bright red fruit and some lavender and sage notes. Perhaps lacking some complexity and body. Curiously reminded me of one of my #garnacha #cariñena blends

The nose on this wine is incredible but the palate doesn't follow through. The complex herby fragrance just disappears in the mouth. It's still good but not up to expectations.
