Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Decent sangiovese and opens nicely. Went great with red meat which brought out the acidity

Darker berry fruit. Oak is showing primary. Wine is showy.

Dried floral, violet, pepper, subtle fruit, chocolate. Let it open! Strong tannins.

Kirsch, heavy herbaceous notes, a touch of leather and cedar. Silky soft tannins. Delicious wine and I can't wait to try the 2010! - 2009 vintage

Nice and ripe, rich, coffee, chocolate, bright slightly jammy fruit, touch metallic on the nose, making way towards something a little floral. Lovely on the palate.

Beautiful Brunello. I'd drink this twice.

Perfect classic brunello. Decanted for about 30 min and it's in drinking window now and probably for the next 2 to 5 yrs.

Still has a plenty of life left. Traditional style and flavor profile. Tannins have soften and drinking well now. Decanted for 30 minutes.
