Popped and poured; consumed over two hours. Proof that 2013 is a special vintage. This was absolutely outstanding. Slowly gaining momentum all the way until the last drop. Abundant dark and red fruits, tar, eucalyptus and camphor. Rich fruit on the palate. Stiff tannins. Wonderful structure but with ample fruit to carry the day. What a treat. Can hardly wait to get into some of their single cru wines. Drink now through 2030...possibly longer.

Very cool that this wine is served by the glass in Whole Foods (Bryant Park, NYC) at the pizza counter. Mid-weight and silky. Red fruit driven. Very tasty!
