Old school. Truffle, black tea, game juices, mushrooms, nutmeg. Massively tannic and structured, but quite exuberant and forward enough to enjoy now (interestingly, the regular cuvée has completely shut down). Suspect this will drink well at every point over the course of a long evolution. Exceptional.

Nice. Needs time. Was much better the 4th day. Still there are good aromatics and structure with a cleansing finish. SS

Opened 12 hours earlier and needed every minute to unfurl. Crazy nose of cedar and red fruit. Light in body but will likely gain some weight with a few years in the cellar. Great food wine. #rokaakor

We finished this off tonight as well. What began as a young bruiser full of firm tannins eventually opened into a beautifully finessed picture of elegance. Exotic spice & floral aromatics surround the fresh cherry notes here. Ethereal palate weight balanced the power here. Very nice.

Strong oak nose, but overall a round, pleasant bouche and aftertaste.
