Wine #1,000 Amazing! Decanted for 30 minutes. Tannins are easing and softening some...no rush as this is still improving with age. Wondeful aromas of dark fruit and a touch of vanilla. Highly structured black cherry, plum, violet, and a slight saline on the palate. Luckily still have a few more of these to age. So good!

Terrific old school brunello. Doesn't get much better than this.
Just barely coming into it's drinking window. 60 min decant. At this point mainly cherry only on the nose. On the palate, cherry, tar, and tannins still fairly prominent. Still has a decade or two to go...
