Bought this blend as a fallback for when we've drank too much. Saved it and it turns out this was one of the better bottles

Dark Ruby in color with light intensity and cloudy, with a red rim.

Light on the nose with blueberries, cherries, strawberries, oak, vanilla, licorice and peppercorn.

Light to medium bodied with high acidity.

Bone dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, cranberries, oak, coffee, earth, forest floor, pencil lead and black pepper.

Medium plus on the finish, with fine grained tannins, spices and tart cherries.

Light, simple and uneventful. Nice food wine but not so much by itself. Not very much my taste (Kind of sour by itself).

Aged for six months in barrique barrels.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Light and pleasant taste. Very remarkable elegance and tannins are there. Beautiful color and noticeable break.

What’s not to like about Sangiovese? This one is smooth, has nice spice, and a long finish. Quite a bargain at just under $20.
