Was lost and then was found in cellar into my belly. Bright fruit and soft tannins.

Should improve on day 2 - heavy alcohol - leather and cedar notes emerging but cloaked

Just a skosh of Bret, but still really good. #Panchas at Super Bowl

Simply awesome! 1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Paired with Java pork tenderloin. Nose is dominated by cedar. Wine is refined and more Bordeaux than Napa. Could have used a little more depth, but had a lovely texture. Medium finish.

Low acidity and tannins soften to yield dark fruits with a hint of cassis and pure smoothness all the way through. Definitely peaking and looking forward to enjoying the last bottle of 2005 in the coming months.

Tuesday night upgrade! This has years to go, though I would argue it is drinking beautifully this evening within minutes of (gently) pulling the cork. Nose doesn't suggest a whole lot of fruit which is contradicted by the rich color in the glass. Gratefully, color wins out tonight. The wine is showing remarkably well, elegant and soft (barely noticeable) tannins. Loved it and glad to have one more. When to open?
