I have a weakness for a nice Chianti (heh), and this one delivers. Ripe plum and bright cherries on the nose with a little that Chianti-esque iodine and leather. All of the above on the palate with some nice wet slate. Good acid, not as dry as I expected. Might not stand up to the grilled steaks, but enh — no regrets.

Decent Chianti with pasta. Not great on its own, a little tart and unstructured. Was cheap at Total Wine, so okay for the price.

Blueberry, medium body, and a juicy finish. Price was on point for a great Chianti. This is a great bottle for a dinner party, $15 a bottle.
