On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Blend of Sangiovese (90%), Merlot (5%) and Syrah (5%). Dark ruby color with a thin garnet rim. Sour cherry on the nose with hints of black fruit, violets and baking spices. Tart and ripe black cherry/berry/raspberry fruit on the palate with notes of black pepper, chai spices and vanilla. Distinct mineral note on the long and earthy finish. Full bodied and high alcohol with noticeable tannins. High acidity keeps the wine well balanced. Nice complexity. — a month ago
