Cascina Adelaide

Fossati La Morra Barolo Nebbiolo 2016

This wine pours a somewhat clear ruby red. It has a nice nose. The fruit is restrained. And after it’s been open for a little bit, the tannins really come through. This is an excellent wine that I got at Costco for $48. I would definitely re-buy it. It went well, although not a perfect match with the seafood linguine I had for my birthday at Mange Bene restaurant. #barolowine #italianwines #piedmontwines #nebbioli #costcowines — 11 days ago

Château des Tours

Brouilly Gamay 2021

I have never been disappointed by a Cru Beaujolais, though I admit the first day this #brouilly was closed and a touch unbalanced on the tart side. Wine fridge +1 day and it’s expressed itself pleasantly. Cooked raspberry, lighter cherry nose, lovely acid-forward balance with more pronounced fruit on the second day, understated mineral notes. Good decision to buy 3 bottles at less than $20 each @ #costcowines — 9 months ago

Kirkland Signature

Gran Selezione Chianti Classico Sangiovese 2020

Give this one some time to open up. Wild cherry + dried cherries, touch of dried herbs on the nose. Medium plus body, juicy acidity and grippy tannins cruising out on a long finish. Lovely #chianticlassico #granselezione for under $20. #costcowines — a year ago

Château du Luc

Côtes de Bourg Red Bordeaux Blend 2022

Lighter-style #bordeaux, youthful yet subtle black/purple fruit nose, medium body, chewy persistent tannins trailing each sip. Commendable QPR #costcowines. — 3 months ago

St. Emilion Grand Cru Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2022

Balanced, pretty #stemiliongrandcru #bordeaux blend. Not as earthy as other St. Em blends this one is a bit more fruit forward, once it opens up. Excellent QPR #costcowines — 6 months ago

Masottina

Collezione 96 Brut Prosecco

Delicious #prosecco that’s a solid cut above typical mass market and grocery store brands. Distinctive tart cherry nose that carries through the taste. #costcowines — a year ago

C.V.N.E. (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España)

Bela Ribera del Duero Tempranillo 2021

A bit shy black and purple fruit aromas on this #riberadelduero. Medium plus body on palate; prominent acidity up front on palate, chewier tannins on the finish but with that tartness just so food friendly for ~$13, excellent QPR. #costcowines — a year ago

Incanto

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sangiovese 2018

The wine pours a beautiful dark brick red. It has flavors of dried cranberries, boysenberries and maybe a kind of roasted meat finish. For the price of $15 at Costco it is very good. I’ll be buying it again. I don’t have much experience with Tuscan wines. This is a good starting point. #costcowines #tuscany #montepulcino #redwine — 6 months ago

Poggio Scudieri

Riserva Benedicto Chianti Sangiovese 2020

For the price a quite good #chianticlassicoriserva. Reticent bramble fruit on the nose. Palate features typical #sangiovese slightly spicy-earthy dark cherry, traces of cola and spice trailing off on the finish, nicely integrated at 5 years. Great QPR for under $20 - #costcowines — 8 months ago

Domaine de l'Abbaye

Gloria Vieilles Vignes Chinon Cabernet Franc 2019

Nice value #chinon - more modern, not as rustic and funky, muted dark fruit, less bell pepper notes (which I happen to love from #cabernetfranc) so a wider appeal style here with balance and weight on the tongue. #costcowines — a year ago
