2 years since I opened the previous bottle. Doesn’t seem as light as I wrote then. A very nice expressive Nebbiolo once it opened up. But it took a good two hours before it really showed the floral and fruit and spice notes. At first, when opened it was very earthy and tarry. Tannins are mild and integrated.

Very light wine for the most part. Good for a glass after dinner or with lunch. I’ve had cheaper wines I enjoy more and this isn’t my go to. Not bad, just not a consistent wine in my home.

Beautifully perfumed with cedar and spices. Refreshing acidity, delicate cherry, red fruit, hint of tea and light though nicely balanced tannin. Easy drinking and leans more towards a modern Barbaresco than a classic Barolo to me.

Not a great expression...better off with a more mature vineyard.

9 vineyard blend. A more feminine and accessible style of Barolo. Just a touch darker in tone and austerity than the Barbaresco with some stronger eucalyptus mint notes.
