Estate Valle Calchaquí Malbec

Better than the previous experience but still prefer their less boisterous Amalaya.

Well made, slightly ginormous #malbec that will ring bells for some but is a bit too much for me.

Lovely cherry and red fruit with chocolate on the palate. Softening tannins, ready to drink. 14.5% alcohol, Valle Calchaqui, Salta region. Blend of three vineyards- La Brava 1700 m. Colome 2300 m, El Arsenal 2600 m. Fantastic to make wine this good at such an altitude.

Subtle sweetness, smooth, not strong tannins. Nice wine to just sip
