She’s a beauty: right out of the gate, this has gobs of rich ripe red & black fruit, raspberries & boysenberry, plums, so much complexity, big licorice, smoky, brooding, some spice & pepper - big vein of minerality, this was representing Priorat at a really approachable price point. So generous, drinking well now, but plenty of stuffing for the long haul. Impressive persistence on long finish. Only negative was the ABV - tasted the heat on this.

Love this Priorat! Blend of Grenache (70%), Carignan, and Cabernet. Bouquet of dark berries, plum, and cassis. On the palate, smooth tannins, notes of slate, and medium to long finish. Well-made. 2015 vintage on Dec 11, 2018
