Very green nose, slightly off putting and didn’t really match the palate. The palate was bolder and more black fruited.

2015- light fruit, subtle earthiness and a little peppery finish. Could benefit from aging a few years

Many wines are good; only a few are great. This one is in the latter category. Unbelievably concentrated and complex. New flavors and nuances emerge with every sip. The vines for this are very old - most between 60 - 100 years. This wine is tremendous now but will improve even more with long cellaring. This is truly one of Spain’s great wines. 2015 vintage on Nov 9, 2019

What a wonderful Tempranillo from Toro, Spain. Full bodied with nice tannins. Robust describe this wine. Needs to breathe. Wonderful with chicken parmigiana at the Palm Houston.
