Lip-smacking and delicious! We had this with some shrimp summer rolls, some salmon, and some Wagyu, and it was wonderful with all of them. We also had a 2012 Roederer and a 2016 Brunello and it wasn’t outclassed. There is a tension in this wine: the freshness of the fruit and the tannins and the acidity and the earthy depth all came through with focused clarity. This was a wine with a dynamic sense of place and personality. Thank you Greg Brewer!
