Burgess Cellars
Estate Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine needs to breathe for 45 mins or more. It's dry and tastes like the alcohol content is high, but we liked this wine with a hearty ribeye. It's not a last bottle of the evening, but not a bad pick by Charlie. Our first attempt was after a meal and it was just too much alcohol.

Jan 29th, 2016Aging wonderfully at 12 years of age. Soft, integrated tannins with refreshing acidity. Fresh strawberry, plum, and currants compliment developing earth tones. Lovely.
