2013 vintage. Super-Tuscan blend. Needs 1.5+ hours to decant and then red and blue fruit balances tertiary tar and mineral flavors. Not quite the fruit zing or acid of great Sangiovese but complex and enjoyable. Probably 1-2 years left. $40 at bev shop near Kings in Gillette.

Jun 7th, 2020It shows an aristocratic aromas and flavors of black fruits, forest undergrowth and leather, which enhance a polished, velvety character on the palate, before firm but noble tannins to a great finish...
Would say it goes well with roast beef, or game meats, and/or aged hard cheeses.

Dec 21st, 2017Second wine tasted that was produced by the Folinari fam. However, it was actually from the Nozzole Estate. . Not bad if you like Super Tuscans. I'd take a Chianti Classico over it.

May 6th, 2016Excellent Chardonnay with sufficient oak and fruit. Modest buttery flavor like older wines of same variety. If you find it, try!
