Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black fruit, purple flowers, pepper spice and dusty herbs. Flavors of sour black cherries, black berry/raspberry, black olives and those roasted herbs. A bit of black pepper on the long and lingering finish. Very fruit forward, plump and fleshy. No sign of oak. Soft tannins. Fresh, dry and full bodied. Great value red. Thanks for saving me a glass, Chris B!
