Otin Fiorin Piè Rupestris-Nebioli Barolo Nebbiolo

This is beginning to fade a bit but it's still such a treat. Menthol, strawberry hard candies, smoky tar and suave tannins. Beautiful with our short ribs and polenta.

Enjoyed over 2 nights, Spectacular the first night - my favorite of the six. Rated 95. Beautiful & bright with strawberry, mint and licorice. Very different day two. Nose of leather and cherry, and smells like freshly opened band aid. Very silky. Scored 92 on day 2.

Leather, cedar, balsamic, iodine. Incredible nose. 2000 vintage on 1/5/19 Nebbiolo tasting.

Pretty ripe, in a wonderful spot to drink now. Imho not a wine, that you have to put away any longer. Prune jam, figs, mild tobacco & light tannins. 

Florals, sweet fruit, very long finish, and tannins. Superb with our pasta and truffles at Maialino.

Last one of these beauties. Great weight, silky tannins, stinging acidity. Lots of sediment decanted 4 hrs. Now on 2nd day and it is even better. Barolo is not just for winter anymore.
