2006 vintage which opened up quickly with high fruit concentration and long aftertaste plus a sharp, peppery flavor and like most Barolos we’ve tried became drier and drier as the wine opened up…..great Barolo nonetheless

Some bricking, but I reckon it's still got years ahead. Drinking much better on the second day. A rustic beauty. Rosey tar.

No formal notes . We actually had 2 bottles of this , they were different but neither was correct . First thing that was apparent was the pretty brown colour , much older than expected . Both were quite oxidative on the nose , and covered up all the rest of the characteristics. On the palate this was quite dense and tannic , but though better than the nose there was not enough freshness to be true example of this wine . Will reserve judgement , another disappointment….
