'05 Cabernet Sauvignon from legendary #Mendoza garagiste Carmelo Patti. Old World finesse meets Andean terroir

One of my favourite Malbec producers. This '05 cab is good but maybe a little ahead of itself maturity wise.

Eucalyptus, tobacco, cedar, dark red cherry, cola, leather. 9 years old and stunning! Interesting, off the beaten path choice!

Ripe plums, baking spices, cedar notes balanced with great acidity and lingering hints of vanilla and tobacco.

Very solid cab drinking well right now.

Excellent bottle, this Cabernet from Mendoza drinks like a good Italian Brunello.

Crazy, a little tight at first, then opened up to a whole world of cigar and meat, tobacco, and a bitter stickyness I couldn't place. Something very wild, almost feral about this one. Too strange for me too love, but distinct and interesting
