Covid Chianti kick continues. Nice herb and spice component. Tarragon, basil, sage w/ some tomato action. All held up in classic Chianti cherry. Great for price.

The 2018 Chianti Classico is an absolutely joyous wine. Bright red cherry fruit, tangy acids and sweet floral notes all run a translucent, super-expressive Chianti Classico that quite frankly knocks it out of the park. The 2018 is so delineated, so vibrant and just so incredibly delicious. The purity of the flavors is just remarkable. The oak needs a bit of time to fully integrate, but it already has over the last few months. This is what Sangiovese (called Sangioveto here) and Chianti Classico are all about. Best of all, the 2018 is a screaming value. Don't miss it. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2020)

Very fresh and lively. Bright red berry fruit and a little spice. Perfect with spaghetti and meatballs. It’s a beautiful wine for a very reasonable price.

Bon petit Chianti pour le prix, pas le plus complexe ou le plus structuré mais s’est bien bu sur 2 jours

Quite dark ruby color. Nose kind of follows with darker berry and cherry notes, musky/earthy element and some oak. On the palate wine is midweight+, suprisingly open and like nose suggested rather dark toned compared to what I've used to from this bottling. Had to check if I grabbed a Felsina CC instead of this. Anyway a solid CC in the making
