Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Brick-orange in the glass. Grippy and tannic.

Would love to try a good bottle, but this was way oxidized.

Aromatic, soft and coming into its own.

Not sure what others see in this. A thin hot wine w undefinable fruit. Maybe have to wait to air out. Drinkable the following day. Raising to just over an 8 from low 7.

Had this while vacationing in Alaska. Great wine for the value! Would love to have another bottle.

Drinking this and remembering my friend Sean, with gratitude. An excellent Barbaresco on a Sunday afternoon lunch with my friends Virginie and Olivier. Violets, licorice, incense and leather. Velvety tannins. Goes great with ahi tuna.

So delicate and restrained

A lighter style but nicely snappy and plenty of fruit character. Absurdly cheap at $21. Not so amazing that I will be rushing out to buy a case, but a reliable and readily available option for midweek quaffing
