Dark fruits and hints of pepper. Another good Spanish red but with a bit more acidity than most.

Nice fruit but high acidity. Enjoyable wine though.

Neat curiosity.

I'm of two minds about this wine. First, the reductive nose is off putting. But the wine itself is a wonderful expression of old school Grenache, with full dark plum and berry flavor that shows restraint and lets a wave of black pepper and bacon fat ride on top. Reminds me of old school Lirac. And that's a good thing.

Didn't do much for me

I had the 2013 5 years later. Blockbuster. I taste just the right amount of tannins, cherry, wood, and a slight draw on the after tongue. It has some legs and for a dark color no particles or crystals. Nicely done. Want more.
