Founded in 1972 by Fred Furth, the CH Estate encompasses 280 acres of vineyards, Recently purchased by Bill Foley, proprietor of Foley Family Wines, continuing Fred Furth's traditions. Had the '13 a year ago and want to see how developing. Aromas of stone fruits and nutty spice. Flavors of ripe apple, peach and pear with underlying creamy honey tones wrapped around notes of toasty oak. Well balanced finishing with citrus zest, long and rich finish, better a year later. A favorite.

Medium straw yellow color, exhibiting aromas of stone fruits and gentle baking spices. Flavors of sweet apples, peaches and pears glazed the palate with notes of toasty oak. Well balanced finishing with sweet lemony zest, long and rich finish. One of my favorites.

A classic California Chardonnay nose. Full and rich with notes of oak and butter with just a touch a white peach and stone. Lush and full on the palate with a nice touch of spice. Creamy flavors of stone and smoky oak lead more subtitle flavors of spice box and citrus pith with big, lush acidity. The finish is full and warming with touches of white pepper and lingering acidity. Thanksgiving wine #2!

Bottle says this chard's unfiltered. $3 worth of sweet potatoes + this butterscotch rich chard =👌🏼. Slightly tropical like dried pineapple, golden pears, and some vanilla.

Had to have a half glass of this amazing Chard with the Carne Asada plate...loads of orchard and citric, lemon-curd...almoat mirangue like...
Softened the heat of the dish, plays well with the sautéed jalapeños with seering acid and a touch of tarragon...
