Dark rubi robe, nose of blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco and a hint of asian spices. Pronounced Cabernet notes on a medium bodied and elegant wine. Good length and complexity, good now but certainly better in a few years. We like this wine very much and 12 is an excellent year.

Half bottle. Lovely nose of apple cores and flowers. Wine is somewhat astringent and full of apples and dirt. Oddly enough it is somewhat chewy in the mouth. Medium finish. Starts off nicely and then becomes strange and tart. Can’t argue with the £20 price.
