Interesting nose, Cornbread and Jalapeño which points to underripe fruit, but throughly enjoyable

Dirty, chalky, persistent and quite elegant. This definitely rewarded the 10yrs of cellaring.
Way better than I expected.

A very lovely wine. Red berry, a touch of tobacco and gravel. Moderate intensity and length.

Château La Louvière has many fascinating facets. The sumptuous architecture of the château building dates from the late 18th century, but winegrowing here goes back more than 700 years. Very nice Bordeaux; earthy, black berries, vanilla, licorice, and a bit smoky on nose and taste. Nice long finish.
