48% Cabernet 47% Merlot, 3% Cab Franc, 2% Petite Verdot
Deep ruby, very elegant, fruity and beautifully balanced. Really showing well now - a lovely, elegant Bordeaux that shows how great de Pez is becoming. It's on a roll

Had another bottle about a year later. Created in the 15th century, de Pez is the oldest domaine in Saint Estèphe. The Pontac family gave Pez its vineyards. The property was purchased by Champagne Louis Roederer in 1995. Deep red with fresh berry fruit aromas and floral spice. Dry firm tannins with good structure great now but further aging will benefit. Savory on the finish with earthy mineral, decanted 45 minutes.

Beautiful musky aromas. Really heady on the nose and plenty of complexity to back it up on the palate. Killer & at a solid price.
