Cellars date back to 1843), although Chateau has kept the charm of a Medoc wine estate, it has modernized efficient thermo-regulation systems. Mostly Cab Sauvignon and Merlot with a splash of Cab Franc & Petit Verdot. Ruby with aromas of fruit and spice notes. On the palate blackberry, espresso and herb notes. Tight tannins, medium+ length, good balance ending with a toasty smoky character.

Better after sitting. Opened up over time. Mineral and slight vanilla notes. No strong red fruit. It’s a B wine.

Similar notes to 7 months ago. Good now but can improve with 2-3 years of aging.

Ruby color, with medium-low saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackcurrant, raspberry, sour cherry, leather, mushroom, graphite, oak, vanilla, sage, and bell peppers. Full-bodied tannins and medium-plus acidity; nevertheless, smooth, balanced, and easily quaffable. Excellent QPR for a Bordeaux blend on a budget. (44% Cabernet Sauvignon; 44% Merlot; 10% Cabernet Franc; 2% Petit Verdot.)
