2015 vintage. Light-medium body. Pretty cherry, cedar and cigar/tobacco notes and fairly flashy now. Could possibly get better but tasting like it is at/very near a personal performance apex as we speak. A decant or two-three hours open before a full, frontal assault is helpful. Should dance like this for another 10-12 years. Super-classy and a tremendous QPR. Picked up a case at a resto cost of $68 a btl. If you're able to source this retail for $120 or less, do it. You won't regret doing so.

Medium ruby , garnet rim . Nice juicy , cassis , blackberry and some red plum , red cherry notes . On the palate quite rich and round, with sweet summer fruits and a spicy tobacco tinged , grafite note . Quite sweet and decadent on the palate , quite rich . Balanced acidity and grippy , grainy tannin . This needs a bit more time , come back in 5-10 years and should show well a further 10 .

1/22 the bottle open beautifully with complexity, wonderful, black, licorice fruit, but it did not soften overtime. Chucky tannins. This is a big wine probably needs time in the bottle 86.

Elegance. Perfumed blackberry. Black currant and cassis with a dash of pepper. Still too young, but not sorry to have opened. Tannins need time, but C’est la Vie. Delicious
