Sémillion is clearly dominant here with little Sauvignon Blanc "perk" in neither aromas or acidity. Even though it's 2015 (a good year), at only 12% alcohol, there's just not a lot of flavor. Highly disappointing for a $20 wine.

Amazing. Great acidity, wonderful fruit, awesome Structure. Melon, lemon zest..so delicious.

Jun 14th, 2017Rounding out our dinner at Halyards...lots of grass, tart grapefruit, acid in this one. Very stereotypical in nose and palette, and a bit blunt in how it delivers- the wine talks a little too loud. Can't beat the value however, and this is a solid, easy to pair white Bordeaux we greatly enjoyed.
