Truely a great wine, leathery, led pencil, peppery. Tannins totally soft and integrated. Extremely feminin wine. Not the greatest haut brion as it misses a bit of punch but this is an outstanding wine.

Leather, slate, and blackberry with plum notes emerging on the finish. Not as balanced as reviewed but an elegant effort.

This was the stunner of the night for me. Perhaps just because I never drink white #BDX but holy. The silky texture filled the palate with the soft white linen, acacia flower, melon, juicy Bosc pear, bees wax and lemon curd. A hint of herbaceous was kept it fresh and interesting, and the taste of honeysuckle - Oh my. Curvy, yet elegant. Still can't stop thinking about this wine. Stunning. So lucky to have enjoyed this with family and friends at mY old stomping grounds, #DBK.

2000 Vintage is still spectacular. Earthy with hints of berries. A very smooth finish without aftertaste.

Heard a late whisper that this was in the kitchen, so tried to be non-chalant as I made my way over. Probably only my third First Growth. We had some great Bordeaux on the evening, but this was just so powerful and structured. Thank you to generous acquaintances for sharing this.
