Very tight at first opening - menthol and acidity on he nose. After being decanted it developed body and substance to transform into an enjoyable if forgettable Syrah Grenache blend.

The Syrah really adds depth to the Grenache. For me it was really fruit forward with a nice peppery/herbal palate. It finishes with straight plum off the back of the tongue. Glad I bought a half case!

nose gives jammy black plums and earth... palate adds black and white pepper, plums, wood, black cherries, red currant. 70% grenache 30% syrah.... you can feel the alcohol a little (15%)....but overall this is well-balanced. sumptuous texture/mouthfeel.
