Random share at one of my favorite spots. These guys know what's up. Super funky Merlot dominant Saint-Estephe 4th growth. Velvety tannic texture, very dry, pine sappy, lovely.

May 28th, 2016Deep red colour and pleasant, if a little lightweight, nose of blackberries and tobacco. Initial taste is pleasingly juicy red berries but it turns dusty and mouth drying quite quickly, with a sour note. A 2006 drunk in 2016.
