Color is holding well with a light ruby core fading to a light red rim. Mellow intensity and med complexity with classic #bordeaux notes. Palate not showing as well as nose. Firm structure and medium finish. #lafonrochet #stestephe #ctbucklinwine

Unbelievable blend

Random share at one of my favorite spots. These guys know what's up. Super funky Merlot dominant Saint-Estephe 4th growth. Velvety tannic texture, very dry, pine sappy, lovely.

Deep red colour and pleasant, if a little lightweight, nose of blackberries and tobacco. Initial taste is pleasingly juicy red berries but it turns dusty and mouth drying quite quickly, with a sour note. A 2006 drunk in 2016.
