On the nose, dark, floral currants, blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries, poached strawberries, crushed dry rocks, dry stones, tobacco leaf and fresh dark & red florals with deep violets.

The body is full. Tannins are firm but round. Dark floral currants, blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries, poached strawberries, crushed dry rocks, dry stones, dry underbrush, dark spices, leather, dark, moist soil, cedar, tobacco leaf, graphite and fresh dark & red florals with deep violets. The acidity is excellent. The structure, tension and length are superb. The finish is really good but but will blossom in 15 plus years and will cellar 30-40 years easily. It’s well balanced fruit & earth.

One of the better Lynch-Bages I've tasted in awhile and sure to get better.

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (24%), Petite Verdot (3%) and Cabernet Franc (3%). Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of plush black fruit, violets, graphite, leather, cedar and wet gravel. Jammy raspberry and blackberry fruit flavors with additional notes of plums, black currants, mocha, coffee, tobacco and baking spices. Beautiful hints of smoke and dusty earth on the long and precise finish. Rich and concentrated with great intensity. Medium-plus body with some noticeable tannins. Still a bit tight, but heading to a very good place. Thank you so much for the wonderful gift. Kasey and Pete!

First time trying this wine having some how missed it for years. Found it very acidic and lithe. Improved vastly with time and air but still a little lacking. Nice cherry taste.

Hmm. 🤔 wasn’t able to connect with this, expectingly great wine. Actually first direct out of the bottle it was promising. Strong oak notes with vibrant dark red fruit underneath it. But over the next hour, the oak flavors started to be integrated more but the acidity became very prominent and made the wine rather single note, diluted, lacking depth, acidic tasting. So needless to say. Disappointing experience. Maybe it was not the right day 🤔.

Real pleasure. Started out surprisingly soft and elegant and about 1 hour in it just jumped the river and became a true grippy left bank Bordeaux. I had to check our claim that Vilafonté Bordeaux series m and c can stand shoulder to shoulder with the big rollers of Bordeaux. They sure do! Try for yourself and experience a wine from an ancient soil. You will not be disappointed. www.spokenwines.com.
