La Dame de Montrose Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend

Delicious second wine. Needs another 10 or so.

Not as structured as the first growth Montrose but lovely

Always solid! Dark purple color. Cedar and dark cherries dominate. Medium depth and finish. Drinking young.

Missing something- flabby, ugh fell short on its face - no structure- skip this one

Merlot heavy blend from left bank. Had me worried at first - astringent notes and gritty tannins took an hour to air off. Dark - boysenberry and cassis with cedar. Smooth tannins and acid. Great with Kenjis smash burg for grill, but otherwise underwhelming.

Quite tasty the other night. I guess I caught it before it went to sleep for a while?

Eminently enjoyable. Easy drinking Bordeaux, balancing delicate and powerful flavors well.

My first time using my new Coravin. Fun toy. This is a beautiful, very drinkable wine, albeit a few years too young. It feels like it’s holding back a little though, almost like a powerful car that is confined to the speed limit.

Necesita aire.

Nariz: mora, arándano, cassis, regaliz, grafito. Al principio nariz funky, pero 30 minutos de aire y se fue.

Boca: Tanino M+ bastante resueltos, Acidez M, Alcohol M

Se beneficiaria de mas tiempo en guarda.
