A tad funky, oxidative style. Sherry-like briny, nutty character on mid palate. Very herbal aromatics- chamomile tea really coming through. Interesting to finally taste one of his white blends.

This was a lovely wine that will probably reach the same quality level as the 1999 tasted on the same night. Nice fruit , balance and length . Enjoyable but will be better in a few years .
