Excellent and singular. Crunchy red and black fruit - the Cinsault really shines through - with thyme, tobacco, earth, and herbs. Silky resolves tannins, medium + acid, and an overall unique mouthfeel. Dry and sticky at the same time. Had with veal chops, and it totally delivered.

May 15th, 2021Interesting. Garnet with plum, thyme and tobacco on the nose. Full mouthfeel with a light acidity, sweetness with dates. Medium tannins. Very nice with lamb and halloumi. Not tannic enough for high fat meats

Jan 1st, 2020Dark color. Bit of fruit on the nose. Flavors are fruit driven and balanced. Bit of tar. Jammy. I like it enough. A blend of old world and new that makes the grade.

Apr 29th, 2018This wine needed some opening, and afterward gave me hints of tobacco, baking spice, a little funk, and coffee on the nose. It pours red with hints of amber, showcasing its age. The palate is nice. The tannins are holding up nicely, and you taste cherry, fig, mushroom and cedar. It reminds me of a super Tuscan, or maybe some capacious mix between a Bordeaux and a Sicilian Pinot Nero. Over all, for my first Lebanese wine, I’m very, very happy.

Apr 5th, 2018Beautiful earthy, currants and mocha. Typical Musar finish, which subtly unfolds across the palate to keep you in anticipation for the next sip. It is a fabulous cousin to Musar's flagship wine, but a star in its own right.
