Cherry liquer. Red and purple fruit, some barnyard, mulberry and garrigue on the finish. Ripe fruit but lithe with fresh acid, very little extraction; prominent tannins (but not too aggressive). Almost reminds me of a ripe, herbaceous alto piedmont Nebbiolo. Fairly one note on the nose for now, just needs more time.

Opening this was a “woah, that is really fckn good” moment. Never let up. Dried fruit, savory herbs, leather. Good lift. Great value...drank at home with beef stew
