Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Costco. Prior to aerating properly this was a little drying and oaky, and this wasn’t so good. However, following a bit of time to breathe and aerate, this was very enjoyable. Fruits and redcurrant and cherries came out, with a bit of an oaky dryness on the finish but not too significant.

Soft mouth feel, balanced body. Good advisory but still smooth and balanced with fruit. Pleasant. Didn't pair well with almond biscotti.

I usually love this wine as a inexpensive but constantly good tasting cab.... this year is trash. Heavy tobacco nose, overly dirt flavored and more harsh than usual. I actually poured out the rest of the bottle. I'll try one again next year

Deep ruby in color; plums, blackberries, and oak on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like black cherries, black plums, and a little black pepper with a long finish.

Deep purple; black cherries, baking spices and cedar on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like black plum, cherry, oregano, and figs with a long peppery finish. Really good.

2019 vintage. Fine, but not as good as the 2020 Indian River blend from the same winery

Half bottle, NC. Drinkable second day but not by much… only 13.5 but felt way higher

Very acidic; like balsamic vinegar
