Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

Walnut, strong apricot kernel. Volatile acidity, bittersweet balance.

Still pretty sweet. Needs another 15 years ... Good but barely moving into any secondary nuances. This one will be good when I am dead.

This was good, though not as old as it should be, and frankly not at all a fan of the 1999, 2005 (just poor), 2009, 2010, or 2011 tasted alongside it. The 2001 was excessively rich, with very little acidity, made for immediate consumption by unrefined palates.
