Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish brick rim.
Great nose of blueberries, black plums, currants, tobacco, spices, balsamic, vinaigrette, cola, cedar, licorice coffee, cinnamon, light alcohol and peppercorn.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, sweet cherries, blueberries, dried fruits, cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, vinaigrette, tobacco, herbs, coffee, cola, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Stags Leap District in Napa Valley. Well balanced with great complexity and a gentle mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (1 hour).

This 15 year old, still has 10 years in it, but so delicious now. Spicy and tasty. Rich and smooth.

Very full bodied with wonderful fruit (no tannins to speak of) and gains complexity in a long finish if you are patient enough to wait for it.

Family Christmas dinner 2019. Magnum 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon. Superb wine, Chimney Rock is always a favorite and this 2006 aged beautifully.
