Sweet roses, hints of smoke and licorice on the nose. Wonderful freshness and mineral quality, persistent on the finish. Slightly tart (but never bitter) cherry pit character, showing a bit more flesh with several hours aeration. Firm and structured expression of Fleurie that maintains its balance and sense of delicacy. You should expect this to do well in the cellar, 8-10 years.

Brilliant ruby-red. Intense, mineral-accented red and dark berry aromas pick up a sexy floral quality with air. Concentrated yet lively, offering juicy raspberry, bitter cherry and blood orange flavors that show excellent clarity and back-end thrust. Much more open than 6 months ago. Good brightness. A bit fleshy at this stage but open for business. Excited to taste more from this producer.

This held up 3 days in the fridge without any degradation. Easy drinking that we had with chicken and pizza. Grapey with licorice and smoke. Delightful.

Deep berry notes with minerals and a good balance of just enough acidity and dryness, almost too dry for me though. Paired ok with charcuterie and cheese, difficult to drink on it’s own, badly needs food.
