Needs 45 minutes but then classic Clos du Mez style in effect. Big and brawny and full of intense cherry fruit. Black current as well. Great acids and big tannin. Tremendous. Texture gets silkier as it breathes. Drink slowly as it has lots to reveal.

Made and built like a Burgundy from its élevage, this is more serious Gamay than your usual Cru Beaujolais. A little reticent for me on this occasion in the nose nut the palate is all there, though this tells me it could age easily another 4-5.

Holy crap this is good. Reminds me of the muscle gain ads of my youth with the muscly guy kicking sand in the face of the scrawny guy. This fleurie is the muscly guy. Stunning structure snd powerful balanced fruit. Complex finish. Awesomely delicious internal aromatics. Wow. Lyle offered the 12 and 08 today. As mr t would say "I pity the fool" who doesn't buy it.
