Satisfying #stemiliongrandcru - stewed currant, spiced rum cake, forest floor, leather, nose - forward acidity and soft tannins. Beautiful wine for juicy mushroom burgers.

Deep ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, black cherry, creme de cassis, vanilla, cedar, nutmeg, anise, earth, leather, morel mushroom. Well-integrated flavors and great balance. Lovely complement to a truffle-driven meal with chicken Kiev, risotto, and roasted asparagus. Happy (belated) Birthday @lizziehammes ♥️♥️♥️

Mark and I went to Saint Emilion in 2019 and loved it. We saw this wine and it did not disappoint. It is a truly wonderful wine.
