Chardonnay 12: 12m in oak. 10% new oak. Melon, peach, creamy, quite defined oak. Quite toasted, but not overt. Big mouthfeel, med to full, very rich fruit and distinct toasty notes. A little too overt. 89+

Light pale, yellow, clear color; large bouquet of oak and ripe fruits and petrol; high acid, fruity, and long oaky coconut finish. New world outstanding chardonnay. Owned by LVMH no less.

Another year in the cellar and this has improved a bit, lovely pale gold color, less fruit on the nose and more of a toasty warm spice, taste is green apple pie with with an acidic finish. For the same money I prefer Rombauer though.

Pale yellow/green chardonnay which is lively and slightly carbonated on the palate, oaky and flinty without being overpowering, nice crisp acidity to end. Drank fairly quickly over dinner, will try to remember to let my other bottle breathe a while.
